 Electric Shop heaterslet you keep working all year round in comfort. A workshop is usually found in the basement or garage, and heating a large space like this can be tricky. So to simplify things we broke up the electric shop heaters into four groups.
Plug-in It comes with a cord and built-in thermostat (4,000 to 5,600 watts) heats 350 - 500 sq. ft.
Small are all hard wired to the wall (No cord) (3,000 watts) heats 250 - 300 sq. ft.
Medium a mix of plug-in and hard wired heaters (4,000 to 5,600 watts) heats 350 - 500 sq. ft.
Large are all hard wired to the wall (No cord) (7,500 to 10,000 watts) heats 700 - 900 sq. ft.
Electric shop heater TIP = Insulate your work shop as much as possible (walls, ceiling, windows, doors) it really does pay for its self. A poorly insulated room could need two to three times the heat as an insulated room. |
